Sky Sox Snap Tobias's Streak at 26
Saturday, April 20th, 2019
The Colorado Springs Sky Sox did something to Josh Tobias no team had done for the last 26 games -- they stopped him, ending his consecutive-game hitting streak. Unfortunately, they couldn't do the same to the Baby Cakes, who came away with the 4-2 victory at Security Service Field.

"Hey, I knew it wasn't going to last forever," the 26-year-old second baseman said of the demise of his streak. "It was a good ride while it lasted."

Tobias is hitting .318 this year with no home runs, 6 RBIs and 4 runs scored. He has 7 hits in 22 at-bats, 4 walks and a .423 on-base percentage. Tobias has played in 6 games.
