PC Star of the Week Picked Monday, April 29th, 2019 Pete Alonso demonstrated his potential to be a star in the game last week and today he took home the National Conference Player of the Week Award. The Albuquerque first baseman wreaked havoc on opposing pitchers last week, pounding them for a .400 average (10-for-25) with 4 home runs and 9 RBIs on his way to claiming the honor. This season Alonso has delivered 23 hits in 66 at-bats for a .348 average with 8 home runs. He is getting on base at a .442 clip and his totals also include 18 RBIs and 12 runs scored.
