League Suspends Fletcher and Strahm for Brawl
Monday, April 29th, 2019
After an intense confrontation, both the Clippers David Fletcher and the Storm Chasers Matt Strahm were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Columbus-Omaha game. David Fletcher will miss 3 games, while Matt Strahm was suspended for 6 games.
"Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," David Fletcher commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play."
This season Fletcher is hitting .400 with 26 hits, 1 home run, 10 RBIs, scored 11 runs and played in 17 games.
